MiBA G3-V1

MiBA is a miniaturized cell-incubator that allows biologists and searchers to experiment in various ways. Developped over the years, it initially started in 1997, when Dominique DUMAS, PhD Microscopy and biology, worked on the miniaturization of cell-incubators with oxygen regulation and hypoxia. After a granted patent and a European Space Agency contract for developing the first MiBA prototype, we continue to improve our products and services to help searchers, biologists and industries grow what they want, the way they want it.

Culture chamber

  • Material and transparency
    Anodized material to avoid light reflection. Has a cover with a transparent window (absorption level and wavelength can be customized).
  • Dimensions and Labtek II compatible
    Compatible with Labtek II (size 25x56 mm, 250 microns lamella, thickness 000).
  • Temperature control
    Temperature control from 25°C to 40°C, resolution of 0.5°C, tolerance of +-1°C, maximum time to reach the set point 25°C -> 37°C: 5 minutes
  • Irrigation flows
    Chamber infusion means: two irrigation ports, pump, pump control electronics.
  • Sterilization
    Allows the injection of an aseptic liquid without introducing it into the chamber to sterilize the channel and all the fluidic piping (direction of circulation must be automatically managed by the direction of the liquid introduction)

Tanks

  • Tanks compatibilities
    "Preferred" tanks are cell culture flasks that can be equipped with the required connections for the various ports of the system: - 1 bottle of clean culture medium - 1 bottle of used culture medium - 1 bottle of clean rinsing liquid - 1 bottle of waste (for all dirty fluids)".
  • Cap compatibility
    Compatible with the brands PYREX - DURAN and KIMAX. As all three use a GL80 cap, this type of cap can be used for the system.

MiBA Culture Chamber

Miniaturized culture chamber. Can receive standard Labtek II (25x56 mm). Can be connected to other culture chambers or other containers, in series or in parallel.

MiBA Main Controller

Overall controller. Can control up to 3 MiBA secondary controllers. Used as the PC interface to communicate between the application and the controllers.

MiBA Secondary Controller

Temperature controller. Can maintain up to 3 MiBA culture chambers at the desired temperature from 25°C to 40°C.
